Employee Spotlight: Meet Steph, Senior Customer Success Manager at Aibidia

9.10.2025

In this edition of our Employee Spotlight series, we’re excited to introduce Steph, who joined Aibidia as a Senior Customer Success Manager. Based in London, Steph brings over a decade of experience helping enterprise customers maximise the value of their technology investments. With a career that began by chance and grew into a passion for customer success, she thrives on challenge, variety, and making an impact.

From chance beginnings to a career built on impact

Steph, tell us a bit about your background and what brought you to Aibidia.

I’m a born & bred Londoner with a passion for travel. I fell into the early stages of my career by chance. After university, I moved back to London and needed a job. My brother’s friend's daughter’s boss was hiring for a Client Services Executive role and I figured “I know how to talk to people, it'll be fiiiiiine”. And it was.

That ‘by chance’ role grew into 13 years in transformational post-sales commercial positions, working with global enterprise customers across industries like LegalTech, Business Intelligence and Public Sector Procurement. Over the years I found my professional happy place: supporting MNEs to get maximum value from their tech investments.

Describe a typical day for you at Aibidia.

The joy of Customer Success is that there isn’t really a ‘typical’ day. The core of my role is (unsurprisingly) customer-facing, so in any given week I might be meeting clients at events, visiting their offices or connecting remotely from my desk at home or in Aibidia’s central London office. One of the things I value most is the flexibility Aibidia offers; a truly hybrid model that allows me to bring my best self to work without sacrificing my personal time.

I also love getting involved in internal projects, and from day one the team has encouraged me to do so. Just a few months into my role, I’ve been spearheading a new Executive Sponsor Programme for key accounts, helping to implement and optimise new tech tools for our Customer Success function, and soon I’ll be supporting the adoption of new product analytics. It’s the organised chaos I was hoping to find when I joined.

What was the moment you knew you made the right decision in joining Aibidia?

My very first week at Aibidia happened to be the summer party and company off-site in Croatia, celebrating our Series B funding round. It was a baptism of fire into the fun side of Aibidia life; from welcome drinks where I met over 70 friendly new faces (and remembered maybe 10% of their names), to learning that our co-founders once launched a business centred on holidays for pets and that involved a closing party with a private bar and a highly competitive limbo contest!

Flying home to London after that week, I thought to myself: I’ve found my people.

What motivates you in your work?

I’m motivated by challenge and the opportunity to have an impact. I get real satisfaction from figuring out problems, helping customers overcome obstacles, and seeing positive results at the end of the day. Aibidia is a fast-growing and ambitious company, which means there’s always room to get involved and to make a difference - exactly what I was looking for when I joined.

What would you say to someone considering a career at Aibidia?

Do it.

Do it if you want to learn and grow.
Do it if you want to experience the energy and chaos of a fast-growing SaaS company.
Do it if you want to have fun along the way with a genuinely lovely and supportive bunch of people.

What youʼll learn inside the Aibidia report 2025

The rising cost of tax scrutiny
01

The rising cost of tax scrutiny

Heightened tax authority demands are driving up the time and money TP teams spend on audits. Companies with stronger documentation processes, centralised data, and proactive OTP practices are better positioned to contain both costs and risk.

02

The state of OTP maturity

Only 35% of companies have a well-defined OTP process, while 24% have none at all. Barriers to OTP maturity include poor data access, complex business models, and limited coordination between tax, finance, and IT.

03

The importance of structured data

With 72% of companies in fragmented data environments, the report shows how centralised data helps TP teams insource more processes, ensure consistent compliance, and handle audits more efficiently.

04

Technology and AI adoption in practice

42% of MNEs are investing in specialist software, reducing reliance on traditional tools. AI interest is steady rather than explosive, hinting that TP teams need clean, structured data before advanced analytics can add value.

Expert insights

Structured, reliable data is essential for executing a consistent, defensible transfer pricing strategy. Common barriers to structured data include siloed legacy source systems, unclear data ownership, and inconsistent definitions across entities and functions.

We see significant variation in OTP maturity across companies. In many cases, if existing processes appear to work, there’s less motivation to change. However, where we see this changing, is within MNEs that have faced increased scrutiny or operate with more complex structures.

While there are many challenges in accessing the right data for TP calculations and analysis, one of the most significant barriers to OTP adoption can be the misalignment of KPIs between Finance and Tax teams.

We’re seeing practical AI adoption in areas such as navigating country-specific documentation requirements, researching transfer pricing methods, comparing jurisdictional rules, and tracking global compliance timelines.
