Meet Kevin, Aibidia's amazing and energetic Head of Sales. In the past year, Kevin has become a vital part of the Aibidia team, leading a group of skilled Account Executives with passion and purpose. Hi Kevin! Tell us a bit about yourself.

Hey! Nice to meet you all! I’m the Head of Sales here at Aibidia. As a sales leader, the most important thing for me is to create an environment of trust and accountability. This allows all of us to not only perform at our best but also bring out our own individuality in doing so.

I moved to London from California with my partner in 2019, just six months before the pandemic. With almost 10 years of experience in Tech across San Francisco and London in industries from predictive analytics, customer relationship management, HR, and now international tax, I see how valuable being collaborative, authentic, and open to difference is.

What does a typical day in your role look like?

A typical day for me usually starts at 7 am when I roll out of bed and head to the gym to get energized for the day. I head into the home/work office (gotta love the hybrid life), where I lead a team of amazing Account Executives. Most of my day is spent supporting, training, and coaching the sales team. When I’m not doing that, I’m focusing on more strategic initiatives on how we, as a team, can level up.

What attracted you to join Aibidia?

Transfer pricing was not a topic I knew existed until I found Aibidia, so I can confidently say it was not the industry. When I was looking for roles, I had three focus areas: 1) product/market potential, 2) people, and 3) where I could make an impact.

First, I was completely blown away by the people at Aibidia (you’ll see!). The culture at Aibidia empowers people to take ownership of their roles. I could clearly see this was a company that would encourage me to make a meaningful impact. Then, I started to learn about the industry and the challenges we were solving... I was sold and have not looked back!

What was the moment you knew you’d made the right decision to work here?

I knew I made the right decision shortly after I started when I visited the head office in Helsinki and met the entire crew. Just wow! I had a great interview experience, but you are never 100% sure if the culture will match after you accept the position. After meeting all the amazing Aibidians, I was sure I had made the right decision.

What gets you out of bed every morning and motivates you?

As I mentioned, impact is key for me, and seeing that I have impact gets me to get out of bed in the morning. Seeing my team and others across the company succeed and knowing I played a part in that success, is just the best feeling for me.

What’s something that happened that can only happen here at Aibidia?

What comes to mind with this question is our Aibidia Summer Party. Our summer party is hosted in Finland, and what’s super special is that the sun doesn’t fully set in the summer. So, you are celebrating all the amazing Aibidia accomplishments with your colleagues while watching the sun sit on the horizon before beginning to rise again. Incredibly beautiful!

What would you like to say to someone considering a career at Aibidia?

Be you and that's enough.

What youʼll learn inside the Aibidia report 2025

The rising cost of tax scrutiny
01

The rising cost of tax scrutiny

Heightened tax authority demands are driving up the time and money TP teams spend on audits. Companies with stronger documentation processes, centralised data, and proactive OTP practices are better positioned to contain both costs and risk.

02

The state of OTP maturity

Only 35% of companies have a well-defined OTP process, while 24% have none at all. Barriers to OTP maturity include poor data access, complex business models, and limited coordination between tax, finance, and IT.

03

The importance of structured data

With 72% of companies in fragmented data environments, the report shows how centralised data helps TP teams insource more processes, ensure consistent compliance, and handle audits more efficiently.

04

Technology and AI adoption in practice

42% of MNEs are investing in specialist software, reducing reliance on traditional tools. AI interest is steady rather than explosive, hinting that TP teams need clean, structured data before advanced analytics can add value.

Expert insights

Structured, reliable data is essential for executing a consistent, defensible transfer pricing strategy. Common barriers to structured data include siloed legacy source systems, unclear data ownership, and inconsistent definitions across entities and functions.

We see significant variation in OTP maturity across companies. In many cases, if existing processes appear to work, there’s less motivation to change. However, where we see this changing, is within MNEs that have faced increased scrutiny or operate with more complex structures.

While there are many challenges in accessing the right data for TP calculations and analysis, one of the most significant barriers to OTP adoption can be the misalignment of KPIs between Finance and Tax teams.

We’re seeing practical AI adoption in areas such as navigating country-specific documentation requirements, researching transfer pricing methods, comparing jurisdictional rules, and tracking global compliance timelines.
