Employee Spotlight: Meet Pete Corsi, Senior Account Executive at Aibidia

4.11.2025

In this edition of our employee spotlight we’re catching up with Pete Corsi, a US-based Senior Account Executive at Aibidia. Based in New York City, Pete shares what drew him to Aibidia, what life at the company looks like day-to-day, and the moments that have made his experience truly stand out, from Helsinki to the beaches of Croatia.

Harnessing Data, Driving Impact

Pete, tell us a bit about your background and what brought you to Aibidia.

Over the last decade in sales, I’ve had the opportunity to work across a wide range of industries and learn from many different teams and leadership styles. Along the way, I discovered a real passion for helping clients use data to create tangible, lasting outcomes for their organizations.

Before joining Aibidia, I worked closely with global finance and tax teams to help automate data aggregation, cleansing, and analytics. When I came across Aibidia’s mission to bring that same level of efficiency and automation to the transfer pricing space, I was intrigued.

After a brief chapter supporting startups with HR, payroll, and compliance solutions, I was ready for a new challenge that combined innovation, impact, and smart use of data. That’s what led me to Aibidia, a company where diverse backgrounds come together around one shared goal: reimagining how multinational companies approach transfer pricing.

Describe a typical day for you at Aibidia.

My day always starts with coffee, followed by a train ride across the Hudson River to our office near Rockefeller Center. Once I’m settled in, I’ll review my schedule, prepare for meetings, and follow up on any outstanding action items.

Around lunchtime, our NYC team usually ventures out to try a new spot. It’s a great way to connect, share ideas, and get ready for the afternoon ahead. My late mornings and early afternoons are often filled with client meetings, but when time allows, I like to connect with colleagues in other locations to learn from their experiences.

Sometimes our building hosts happy hour or offers some end-of-day snacks which is a nice way to wrap up before heading back home.

What was the moment you knew you made the right decision in joining Aibidia?

I had a good feeling about Aibidia during the interview process, but it was my first week that really confirmed it. Just three days after joining, I was on a plane to Helsinki for onboarding. That week brought everything together - collaboration, culture, and the genuine warmth of the team.

I met colleagues from around the world, explored Helsinki’s incredible food scene, and came home not just motivated, but inspired. I also left with new friends I plan to visit the next time I’m in Europe.

What motivates you in your work?

I’ve always been motivated by people who believe in me and are willing to take a chance. Aibidia did exactly that, bringing me on as one of the first Senior Account Executives in the US to help build on our existing presence here.

That trust pushes me to give my best, for our clients and my teammates. Whether it’s lending a hand, sharing a laugh, or being someone to talk to, I take pride in contributing to the positive, collaborative energy that defines our culture.

Tell us about something that happened here that could only happen at Aibidia.

A few months after joining, we gathered for our summer party in Croatia. I’d heard rumors about impromptu singalongs led by some of our founding members who, it turns out, are quite the musicians.

One morning, a guitar appeared, and by nightfall I was playing and singing on the beach with about 30 colleagues under the moonlight. We did it again the next night. It’s one of those moments you don’t plan for, but they happen naturally when you’re surrounded by great people.

What would you say to someone considering a career at Aibidia?

Aibidia is a place where people genuinely care about each other’s success. We operate as one team, learning from each other’s strengths, supporting one another, and working toward shared goals. With teammates representing more than 25 nationalities, every conversation offers a new perspective. It’s an environment that encourages growth both personally and professionally.

When you work with people you respect, feel supported by leadership, and believe in what you’re doing, it changes everything. That’s what makes Aibidia special, and it’s why I’m proud to be part of it.

What youʼll learn inside the Aibidia report 2025

The rising cost of tax scrutiny
01

The rising cost of tax scrutiny

Heightened tax authority demands are driving up the time and money TP teams spend on audits. Companies with stronger documentation processes, centralised data, and proactive OTP practices are better positioned to contain both costs and risk.

02

The state of OTP maturity

Only 35% of companies have a well-defined OTP process, while 24% have none at all. Barriers to OTP maturity include poor data access, complex business models, and limited coordination between tax, finance, and IT.

03

The importance of structured data

With 72% of companies in fragmented data environments, the report shows how centralised data helps TP teams insource more processes, ensure consistent compliance, and handle audits more efficiently.

04

Technology and AI adoption in practice

42% of MNEs are investing in specialist software, reducing reliance on traditional tools. AI interest is steady rather than explosive, hinting that TP teams need clean, structured data before advanced analytics can add value.

Expert insights

Structured, reliable data is essential for executing a consistent, defensible transfer pricing strategy. Common barriers to structured data include siloed legacy source systems, unclear data ownership, and inconsistent definitions across entities and functions.

We see significant variation in OTP maturity across companies. In many cases, if existing processes appear to work, there’s less motivation to change. However, where we see this changing, is within MNEs that have faced increased scrutiny or operate with more complex structures.

While there are many challenges in accessing the right data for TP calculations and analysis, one of the most significant barriers to OTP adoption can be the misalignment of KPIs between Finance and Tax teams.

We’re seeing practical AI adoption in areas such as navigating country-specific documentation requirements, researching transfer pricing methods, comparing jurisdictional rules, and tracking global compliance timelines.
